What you will be able to do

  • Open a bilingual meeting so that the purpose, the finish time and the language of record are fixed inside the first minute
  • Interrupt, park a topic and close a discussion in English without sounding blunt or losing the room
  • Push back on a senior colleague using question forms and stated reasons instead of flat refusal
  • Write subject lines and opening lines that carry the action, the object and the deadline, and chase late replies on a neutral escalation ladder
  • Move between three registers, colleague, client and regulator, and know what each one puts on the record

About this course

A practical course for people working in Gulf offices where meetings and correspondence run in Arabic and English at the same time. It does not teach grammar. It gives you the sentence you need at the moment you need it: how to open a meeting and hold its clock, how to interrupt without insult, how to push back on a senior colleague in question form rather than flat refusal, how to write a subject line that gets opened, how to chase a late reply without sounding hostile, and what actually changes when you move from an email to a colleague to a letter addressed to a regulator. Explanations in Arabic, example sentences in English, ready to reuse as they are.
